We have been "practicing" our crawling a bunch lately...which consists of us putting Carter on his tummy, placing toys slightly out of reach all around him, and encouraging him to move to get the toys. He pushes way up on his arms as you can see from the pictures and sometimes he can even get one knee pretty close to underneath him. But that's the full extent of the crawling for now. He moves his legs around a lot (like he's swimming) and he seems to be concentrating hard to get those toys. He really likes to do this game too! Other recent pictures...

Carter is just so adorable - those big blue eyes - and now curls? He surely has a lot of hair for a "not quite six month" old. Also, looks like Mommy and Daddy will soon have to keep their track shoes "at the ready"!

Carter is an absolute doll! Love those huge blue eyes! Watch out...when he starts crawling, the fun really begins! Ava Grace can give him some pointers on all of the really fun (aka gross) things he can get into!
